Beyoncé hit the streets in Brooklyn, NY with her adorable one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter over the weekend.
The superstar mom took baby Blue out for brunch on Sunday at one her favorite New York eateries, Buttermilk Channel, in the downtown area of Brooklyn on Court Street. The two spent a girls' day out, as Beyoncé's husband and Blue Ivy's father hip hop mogul Jay-Z was not around.
The multi-platinum singer was spotted wearing a black hooded coat and dark shades, while her toddler seemed to be emulating her father's urban street wear style wearing blue jeans, a camo jacket and Timberland construction boots.
In an interview on NFL Network's Super Bowl Live in February, Beyoncé said that her daughter is the highlight of her life. "When I wake up in the morning, the best thing in the world is seeing her face," the pop star said earlier this month. "She's starting to talk. It's just such a beautiful time in my life to have a child and every day see something new and see her learn something new."
The internationally renowned diva alos opened up on "Oprah's Next Chapter" revealing how having her daughter has changed her life.
"So much joy and... she introduced me to myself," Beyoncé told Oprah. "My daughter introduced me to myself... My mother and I are so close and I always prayed that I would have that type of relationship with my daughter. And she's still a baby, but the connection I had with her when I was giving birth was something I have never felt before... We had a communication, and I envisioned her. And I envisioned the birth."
